Established in March 2001, Gulf for Good operates under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum (pictured above with Brian Wilkie, G4G Chairman).
Gulf for Good is registered with Dubai International Humanitarian City, Licence No: 75030
Gulf for Good is also a UK registered charity, Registered Charity No: 1140294
We organise exciting adventure challenges around the world inspiring people to do something unusual. Participants raise funds, which are then donated to handpicked charities in the region where the challenge is held.
Gulf for Good‘s aim is to help people in the Gulf to challenge themselves whilst having fun to help others.
We hear constantly that the challenges we organise make a huge difference to peoples’ lives. Obviously the recipients of the funds benefit enormously, but doing the challenge itself often turns out to be a lifechanging experience for many challengers.
A multi-national Board of Governors comprising respected business and government figures supervises the charity. All are volunteers, including the Charity’s Solicitors and Auditors.
1 full-time and 2 part-time staff members are located in International Humanitarian City – Dubai and undertake day-to-day administration and marketing duties.
The charity is audited by PriceWaterhouse Coopers and recently won the prestigious Noble Humanitarian Award Middle East – see video clip
